End the Dog & Cat Meat Trade
Dogs and cats are stolen from families, transported in appalling conditions, and sold for meat. Help WARN support rescue operations and the campaigns to end this trade.

The Scale of the Problem
An estimated 30 million dogs and 10 million cats are killed for food each year across Asia — many of them stolen pets. The trade is not traditional subsistence — it is an organised commercial industry that profits from theft, animal suffering, and weak enforcement.
Animals are transported in inhumane conditions — crammed into wire cages, often without food or water — and killed in ways that cause extreme suffering. The trade also poses serious public health risks, as it is a vector for rabies, cholera, and other zoonotic diseases.
WARN works through vetted local partners to support rescue operations, fund safe-house capacity for rescued animals, and back legal advocacy efforts for trade bans in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Indonesia.
