In brief

There are six ways to get involved with World Animal Rescue Network: donate, volunteer your skills, share our appeals, set up a corporate partnership, fundraise for us, or leave a gift in your will. Volunteering and partnership enquiries both start with one email to info@worldanimalrescuenetwork.org.

Six ways to help, at a glance

  • Donate — One-off or monthly gifts fund partner-led rescue in 17 countries. From £5 a month.
  • Volunteer — Remote roles in fundraising, communications, research, design and social media. No field placement required.
  • Spread the word — Share an appeal, add a link to your email signature, or tell your network. Free, and it works.
  • Corporate partnership — Match funding, pro bono expertise and cause partnerships for companies.
  • Fundraise — Races, bake sales, birthday appeals and challenge events — we supply the materials.
  • Legacy gift — A gift in your will costs nothing today and secures rescue work for decades.

Volunteering & partnership questions

How do I volunteer with WARN?
Email info@worldanimalrescuenetwork.org with the skills you would like to offer and roughly how much time you have. WARN volunteer roles are remote and cover fundraising, communications, research, graphic design, social media and field logistics support. We do not currently place volunteers overseas — frontline work is delivered by our vetted in-country partners.
Do I need experience in animal welfare to volunteer?
No. Most volunteer roles are professional skills roles — writing, design, research, spreadsheets, social media — rather than animal-handling roles. Sector experience helps but is never a requirement.
How much time do WARN volunteers commit?
It varies from a one-off task of an hour to a few hours a week. Tell us what you can realistically give and we will match you to something that fits rather than something that lapses.
Can my company partner with WARN?
Yes. WARN works with companies on match funding, pro bono expertise, payroll giving and cause partnerships. Email info@worldanimalrescuenetwork.org with an outline and we will respond within five working days.
Can I fundraise for WARN myself?
Yes. Runs, bake sales, birthday appeals, challenge events and workplace collections all count. Get in touch before you start and we will send you the wording, logos and payment details you need.
Is WARN a registered charity?
WARN is a registered global not-for-profit animal welfare organisation in England and Wales, but not a Charity Commission registered charity, so Gift Aid does not apply to donations. Full details are on our registration status page at worldanimalrescuenetwork.org/about/registration-status.
