The American Fuzzy Lop combines lop ears with angora-type wool in a compact rabbit — essentially a woolly Holland Lop. Its defining trait is floppy ears and playful personality wrapped in a coat requiring regular grooming.

History & Origins
Patty Greene-Karl developed American Fuzzy Lops in the 1980s by introducing Angora wool genes into Holland Lop lines when Holland Lop wool mutations proved insufficient. ARBA recognised the breed in 1989. AFLs filled demand for lop-eared wool pets smaller than traditional angora breeds.
