Eight species programmes sit at symbolic adoption: dog, cat, elephant, tiger, orangutan, macaw, pangolin and sea turtle. Each links to an active appeal. Monthly income helps partners budget year-round costs instead of relying on one-off crisis appeals. You sponsor the programme, not a named animal in a pen.

At WARN, sponsorship and symbolic adoption are the same donation and grant-assessment approach. Sponsorship is the language on this page and at sponsor. Symbolic adoption is the language on symbolic adoption. Both are monthly or one-off gifts that fund programmes abroad, not a named animal in a UK collection.

Partners prefer monthly gifts because forest school, CNVR and patrols only work as coverage over time. Cancel anyway if it is no longer right.
